Student Official Section, Cameron Dixon and Sean Gabell are finalists!

Cameron has been refereeing for 7 years and started in the Riverland Basketball Association, where he umpired junior country tournaments. He recently travelled to Darwin for the Under 16 National Championships. Cameron enjoys refereeing because of the connection to the game, meeting life-long friends and the challenges associated with refereeing high quality games. His goals for refereeing are to pursue it as far as opportunities will allow me to. Coming from the country, taking on every opportunity possible is the best way forward.

Cameron Dixon

Sean started refereeing Under 8 & 10’s at a junior domestic level and he has been refereeing for 8 years. Sean has been selected to travel to the Under 14’s National Junior Championships and also received appointments for NBL1 Central Women’s game, the highest state level competition. Sean enjoys refereeing as he is able to better himself and learn from every game he referees. His goals are to attend an Australian Junior Championships and hopefully become a crew chief for reserves games.

Sean Gabell

Congratulations to both Cameron and Sean!

Good Luck to all finalists!
