MEDIA ACCREDITATION

Basketball South Australia operates a number of leagues, tournaments and competitions held throughout metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia throughout 2021/2022

These competitions and tournaments have significant media interest and Basketball South Australia has streamlined the process of applying for media accreditation this year. Your 2021/2022 Basketball South Australia Media Accreditation can grant you access to a number of our 2021/2022 competitions and tournaments.

This media accreditation will be valid from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022.

Please submit the following form to put forward your interest in Basketball South Australia 2022 Media Accreditation. This pass entitles you access to Basketball SA operated competitions and tournaments.

A current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) is required to obtain Basketball SA Media Accreditation. If you do not currently possess a WWCC, applications can be made via this link.

 

Basketball South Australia Media Accreditation allows access to the following competitions and events:

  • District Junior

Basketball South Australia Media Accreditation does not grant access to:

  • NBL1 Central 
  • WNBL
  • NBL
  • Association/club tournaments and events
  • Basketball Australia operated national and international events including Boomers and Opals matches, Australian Junior Championships or Australian School Championships.

Terms and Conditions 

In consideration of being granted the right to enter the above listed events and/or tournaments, all accredited entrants are required to abide by the accreditation terms and conditions. A summary of Terms and Conditions is below. The full Terms and Conditions are also available below. 

  1. Accreditation is a privilege not a right which BSA may withdraw at any time. BSA reserves the right to refuse accreditation or revoke accreditation. 
  2. Passes are non-transferable and must be produced when requested. 
  3. You must make yourself aware of Emergency Procedures at any venue you attend and they must be adhered to at all times. 
  4. A current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) or other Australian state equivalent (for interstate media) is required to obtain this accreditation. 
  5. We will endeavour to reply to your request within seven (7) days.
