In conjunction with the South Australian Wheelchair Basketball Association (SAWBA), Basketball South Australia is proud to promote the Wheelchair competition.
Wheelchair is a reverse-inclusion social competition, welcoming people both with and without disabilities to the challenge of participating in activities traditionally designed for those with disabilities.
SAWBA’s Adelaide Wheelchair Basketball League (AWBL) is open to all players looking to test their skills, get active and have fun!
The social competition is split into 2 divisions, catering for all players, from the more-experienced through to those with no experience with the sport. Each division consists of players of all ages, genders and abilities. You do not have to have a disability to play in the AWBL and new players always welcome!
