SA Metro Under 18 Important Information

Basketball SA acknowledges that while participation at development tournaments such as the East Coast Challenge or Southern Cross Challenge is desirable for player development, if a player is unable to participate in these events, due to financial or other reasons, then the player’s selection will be based upon their performances in all other aspects of the selection process.

Due to the increased likelihood of cancellation due to COVID, the cost of court hire for the preparation will be billed as a separate non-refundable levy.

More detail can be found in Terms and Conditions upon checkout via OwnUrGoal App.

Please bring a named basketball and any water or food that you may need.

Please note due to current social distancing measures and the large numbers of players that normally trial for these teams, there will be a limit of parents and spectators the same as the competition restrictions at the time of trialling in any trialling venue. We ask that parents that are waiting outside, maintain social distancing and do not congregate close together outside of venues or in hallways or foyers of venues.

Players who are not financial with either Basketball SA or SA Country (Under 20 State Performance Program) will not be eligible for selection. If you have any outstanding money, please contact Basketball SA or SA Country to arrange payment before trialling.
