Basketball SA is pleased to announce the coaching appointments for the 2027 SA Metro teams competing at the Southern Cross Challenge (SCC) and East Coast Challenge (ECC) in January.
The development tournaments provide an important opportunity for emerging South Australian athletes to compete against quality interstate opposition, while continuing their development within the Basketball SA Performance Pathway.
They also play an important role in coach development, providing coaches with the opportunity to work within the SA Metro pathway, gain experience in a high-performance tournament environment and continue developing their coaching skills alongside athletes and fellow coaches.
The East Coast Challenge will be held in Penrith, New South Wales from 6–8 January, featuring SA Metro Under 16 and Under 18 boys and girls teams.
The Southern Cross Challenge will follow in Melbourne, Victoria from 14–18 January, with SA Metro Under 14 and Under 15 boys and girls teams competing.
