Basketball South Australia has a streamlined simple process in regards to getting your stripes and becoming a Level 1C accredited Referee

Attend all 4 Level 1C course Modules
Pass the Rules Exam (provided at the courses)
Complete the Level 1C Workbook (provided at the courses)
Complete on-court assessments
Assessments can be signed off by any Level 1A Referees or Level 1 Referee Coach
Requirements to attend the Level 1C courses:
As soon as a Referee is competent enough to referee a game without the need of shadowing they are considered to be a Level 0 referee and are eligible to attend the Level 1C Course.
Level 0 referees are eligible to attend the Level 1C course. The course is split up into 4 separate modules which are all required. The do not need to be in chronological order. For example, you can sit module 1 and 4 in one year and then in the next sit modules 2 and 3.

Module 4

The Referee Camp this year will feature all 4 modules, if for example modules 2 & 3 have already been completed you will not need to re-sit those modules at the camp. Cost of the camp will be reflective to the amount of modules being attended.
