Basketball SA is now offering more options and age groups for people wanting to play social basketball so it caters for everyone from those wanting to have a bit of fun to the more serious players seeking strong competition
Offered across the courts of Adelaide in a variety of competitions and grades, MSBL Senior is played in the following stadiums.

Joining is as simple as finding a group of people willing to commit to a season.
Teams must be made up of a minimum of five people and there is no limit to how many people can be in one team.

From Winter Season 2022, Basketball SA has made the following changes for MSBL:
MSBL FORFEIT FINE STRUCTURE
More than 3 days’ notice: no fine (originally 5 days’ notice)
Forfeit fine structure:
a) Standard Forfeit Fine: $65.00
– between three (3) and one (1) days’ notice of a forfeit before fixtured game
b) Less than 24 hours’ Notice Forfeit Fine: $100.00
– less than 24 hours’ notice for a forfeit before fixtured game
c) No Show Forfeit Fine: $130.00
– when a team fails to notify or does not show for fixtured game
