$50 trial fee (or $25 for Under 20)

Trial Fee includes;

• 6 hours of trials (or 4 hours for Under 20)

• gain insight into the basic concepts of SA Style of Play and the underpinning sills.

Players unsuccessful in gaining a position into the High Performance Program will gain and receive valuable development for their future in basketball.
Any player that hasn’t fully paid the trial fee will not be accepted and unable to get onto the court until paid.

Although the main purpose of trials is to facilitate selections for EADP and SPP squads, player development is also important. Athletes will receive continuous feedback from coaches throughout the sessions, and will also have an opportunity to consolidate that feedback in their notebooks and personally with coaches after each session. Written feedback will not be provided to athletes after selections. For our feedback mechanisms please see the FAQ that outlines our player feedback processes.

Uniform Requirements

Please bring a blue/red reversible singlet or separate red and blue singlets. The red and blue singlet(s) DO NOT have to be Basketball SA or SA Country branded. Plain red and blue singlets or t-shirts are acceptable. Basketball SA and SA Country red and blue reversibles are NOT available for purchase from Basketball SA prior to or on the day. Please do not wear your club or association PLAYING uniform.
